Lani Starkey, JD, LLM, CPA
Associate Vice President, University of Hawaii Foundation

Lani Starkey is a tax attorney and CPA. He is recognized nationally as a charitable tax planning expert and is an Adjunct Professor at the Shidler College of Business at UH Manoa. Mr. Starkey’s expertise encompasses CRTs, CLTs, business and real estate tax planning and charitable gift annuities. He has been with UH Founda on since 2005 receiving his LLM from University of Florida’s Graduate Tax Program. He earned his J.D. cum laude at Pepperdine University School of Law and his BBA in accounting from Southwest Texas State University.

Randy Huston, BA, MA, CFP®
Charitable Trust Specialist, Trust Administrator, Yellowstone Trust Administration

Randy Huston has worked in financial services for 33 years and resides in Arizona. An estate problem solver, he has assisted hundreds of families meet their estate planning goals through a variety of trust and other tax saving techniques. He earned his BA in Business Administration and MA in Social Science from Azusa Pacific University. He is a member of the Greater Phoenix FPA.
